ROBOT+BIKE=KITTEN: 21% eco-friendly content

ROBOT+BIKE=KITTENROBOT+BIKE=KITTEN:34 of JoeM’s Poems
Some of you know that while moonlighting as a cartoonist I also moonlight as a children’s book author/illustrator. My first book, ROBOT+BIKE=KITTEN came out last week on Earth Day eve. A perfect time for a green cartoonist to have his book of poems published since April is National Poetry Month and April 22 is Earth Day.
As the title of this post states, 7 of the 34 poems (21%) are eco- themed. They’re pretty light and do a good job fitting in with the other 27 poems–mostly about boogers and bikes (joking…kinda).

Early Praise for R+B=K

From Brett Dennen
From a generation of parents who grew up on Seuss and Silverstein, here comes another timeless children’s book with modern relevance. Mohr inspires our kids to be imaginative, caring, and self respecting good people. He does this with poignant poetry and unique illustrations sure to spark conversations with your child on many themes. This book will surely be the first of many for Mohr and his own brand of humorous and insightful storytelling.

From XJ Kennedy
A gorgeous combination of verse and art. Colorful and rib-tickling all the way through.

From No Impact Man, Colin Beavan
Fun and funny poems that will delight your kids as much as they did mine.

If you have a kid (or are a kid-at-heart) you can buy the book on my brand new site.

Thanks!
