The recent news about Monsanto’s GM wheat contamination offers me an opportunity to do a new cartoon. When I do new Monsanto cartoons I occasionally like to highlight old info. Afterall, I’d hate for someone new to Monsanto news to see a Monsanto cartoon and think their only crime is a rogue GM-wheat plant.
The company that made nuclear bombs, Agent Orange, DDT, and PCB’s (ask Anniston, Alabama about that last one) and are responsible for dozens and dozens of Superfund sites claim what they are doing to our food is safe. Every passing year we learn it isn’t. They are obviously concerned about the growing awareness since they now want to bar federal courts from being able to halt the sale or planting of GMOs no matter what health issues may arise concerning GMOs in the future.
