This is the first truly new Hank D and the Bee cartoon in a while. Since making slight modifications to Hank and Bee and finding new publishing outlets I’ve been mainly re-drawing popular old cartoons with the newly-designed main characters.
This was a fun cartoon to draw, and it’s about as topical as my cartoons get these days. The weather is timely, the woods setting is timely (Into the Woods), and the Packers reference is timely (though I’m a die-hard Bears fan). And, of course the appreciation of a mindful walk is always timely.
