Hi, friends! Long time, no post. 2022 was my lowest cartoon output since starting as a cartoonist in 2007. I have been busy, however. I’ve been working on more wood paintings while also coming up with new cartoon ideas. The new ideas are best suited for outlets to which I have yet to submit cartoons. The goal is to have one or more published in the cartoonist’s holy grail–The New Yorker. Failing that, I will submit them to secondary outlets like American Bystander, The Weekly Humorist, and Funny Times. My hope is to someday have a cartoon in The New Yorker. Wish me luck!

My most recent update is that I’ve finally completed my Etsy website. I started it in 2011 but never came close to finishing it. I decided to put it to rest since my cartooning career was peaking at the time, and I was quite busy working on my book, ROBOT+BIKE=KITTEN. Well, now the site is done. It includes my 10 favorite illustrations printed on canvas. They are colorful, quirky, sometimes disturbing, and reasonably priced. Being the savvy businessman I am, I finished them just in time for the Groundhog Day shopping season. So, what are you waiting for?
